Euracon was established in 1997 when Christian Fredman closed a management buy out deal to purchase the business assets of Ahlström Kuluttajatuotteet. The spin-off company continued to carry on the business of its predecessor. Since 2002 Euracon has been wholly owned by the Fredman family.
